Gum Base is a product in contact with food - the chewing gum. It is an inert, insoluble preparation designed to deliver flavours, sugars, sweeteners, functional and pharmaceutical active principles.

It is not designed or intended to be swallowed but is removed - and disposed adequately – after consumption.
