GUM BASE Co. is one of the leading producers of gum base and compressed powder gum in the world, for use in the confectionery, health food and pharmaceutical industry. The company was established as a strategic production unit of Perfetti S.p.A. in 1967; today it is fully owned by the Perfetti Van Melle group and has a second production unit in China, Gum Base Shanghai, established in 1994.
