For the functional food segment, Gum Base Co. produces Compressed Powder Gum (CPG), the new generation of chewing gum based on a process that involves producing a specific gum base, which is then powdered and cold-compressed.

This system means that any kind of active ingredient can be used without being altered, including those that are heat-sensitive. During the CPG production process we are able to control how and when active ingredients and flavours are released, as well as the chewability characteristics of the Chewing Gum Tablet.

For the functional food segment, Gum Base Co. offers a high level of customisation: various types of active principles, flavours and tastes and a wide range of available shapes.
