Gum Base Co. is directly and through its active collaboration in different Associations updated and involved in the definition of new gumbase and/or chewing gum regulations around the world. In this way we ensure to know well in advance about any ongoing changes and can anticipate the compliance of our products to them.
A group of people has been trained at Gum Base Co. to form a “Sensory Analysis Panel”, using scientific methods to support our R&D Department. Parameters that influence consumer perception are identified, standardized and quantified. All assessors receive thorough training and ongoing updates that enable them to detect, recognize and describe the widest possible range of sensory properties of tested samples. In this way we are in a better position to translate the requests of our customers and of their customers into development briefings and also to evaluate the achievement of our development targets.

We carefully select our raw materials and pay special attention to all their quality and safety parameters Thanks to our long experience in dealing with those ingredients we are a big step ahead of most of the other players in identifying the parameters which need to be controlled carefully.
